Plus Humpty Dumpty, Minus 1 Housemate?

March 30, 2008 11:40 PM

Kuya called all the housemates in the Confession Room and made a run-down of their various violations for the first week. Ejay has already broken several items already and Rona stained the sheets. Josef and Alex frequently use hand signals, a big n-o in Kuya’s book. Several also committed lapel violations and was seen throwing excess food. They also got in trouble for wasting water, causing Kuya to cut their shower time in half. The good side, though, was that the housemates conducted a general cleaning of the house withoutbeing told. Though this may have softened Kuya’s ire, consequences had to be dealt. Kuya had the housemates piece a big Styrofoam egg together and hold it in place using two wooden spoons. If it breaks five times, the housemates will be in bigger trouble than the cracked egg. Nan, on the other hand, was given the task to memorize the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and recite it in English, Filipino and German. Fortunately, Junior Kengkoy was able to get the consequences lifted when he succeeded his tri-lingual task.

Another task was given them, one for the graduating housemates. The others have to put together 1,500 spiral notebooks with an equal number of sheets, without the graduates knowing. If they are able to do this, they get a grad party. Josef even waited for Robi to sleep before waking up the rest to finish the task.

The housemates were made to dress up and had their first live conversation with Toni via the plasma screen. What they didn’t know, though, was that it was also the day their guardians moved in the secret house right beside theirs. So tricky was this set-up, especially since they shared one Confession Room, that Rona almost discovered Mommy Jinky and Mommy Minda. The guardians bonded until the wee hours of the morning, some more than others. Daddy John gave Mommy Minda his old Spanish team shirt to give to Alex. Mommy Minda was truly the hostess as she served the other oldies. Being in Kuya’s guest house is indeed an experience for all, even for the guardians. Priscilla cried to Rona, saying she missed her mom and wanted to go on a voluntary exit. Rona kept her going, and she decided that she’d rather make her mom proud by showing she is strong and can be independent. When Kuya relayed her wish to exit to Mommy Jinky, the latter was surprised and jokingly remarked that the kids can go home ahead, since they’re still enjoying their vacation in the PBB house.
