The housemates had a Q & A for Josef and Robi, another of Kuya’s plans to trip the two up. Good thing they still remembered their made-up story and were quick to think of safe answers. Out of 24 questions, they got 13 right and 11 wrong ones – a slight difference, but it was enough for Beauty, the score keeper of the game, to declare that the BBFs passed the Compatibility Test.
Beauty’s patience was put to the test later as Kuya had her teach Nikki how to twirl the baton. Since Beauty and Linda were baton twirlers, they were made to perform in front of their housemates. Beauty had to do her act twice, since Kuya felt she lacked energy. The whole time, she was so conscious because she felt she had black underarms. Even though Linda gave her concealer and powder, she still felt uncomfortable and distracted. The second try worked great, though. After Linda’s one-time performance, she was tasked to coach Jieriel to duplicate her steps. Adding to the pressure, Kuya warned them that if they fail to teach their housemates, Beauty and Linda would face serious consequences. Knowing this, Jieriel burst into tears after performing. She felt bad because she felt she didn’t do well and didn’t want Linda to carry the punishment of her actions. Not even Linda could comfort her, especially after the other housemates chose the Beauty-Nikki tandem over theirs. Apparently, Linda reminded her of her mom, which was why she got distracted and scared of her mentor. Her tears affected even Beauty, who was initially having a hard time controlling her temper as she taught first-timer Nikki to twirl. Even with the “hip, hop, hoop” technique, Nikki tensed up as she practiced the routine. Good for them though, Kuya just wanted to test how they would react under pressure, so no big punishment. Beauty just has to make sure that Nikki’s bangs wouldn’t cover her face and learn to wash her undies, under the watchful eye of teacher Linda. More life’s lessons for this teen who said that she would bring a maid with her if she goes to the province to be able to survive.
Alex’s life lesson is really on making personal decisions. Kuya had Dr. Dexter Aison, a pediatric surgeon, along with interpreter Constantino Zicarelli, talk to Alex about circumcision. He reminds Alex that there is no medical reason for it, except that it would make his privates cleaner. He warns him about falling prey to peer pressure and assures him that it is not a requisite. Knowing all those, Alex still decides to push through with the procedure.
