It shouldn’t have come as such a surprise that the teens left behind were definitely not excused from tasks. Though they were safely tucked in Kuya’s house, the remaining five teens were made busy making beaded items. They had to reach 1,000 pieces and these will be sold at the Teen-dahan ni Kuya. Day in and day out, they busied themselves with the minute beads, choosing each carefully. Looks like we have something else to line up for at the store!
The teens were also made to sympathize with their “other half”, to be in solidarity with, – the first batch who left. Resources such as a stove, water, and time were very limited. Robi, with the help of Rona and Kuya Primo, prepared dinnier, laid out on traditional banana leaves. In fact, they even had to fetch their own meal: eel, which was flopping around like crazy. In exchange, they get their second clue as to where she could be found. They failed this, though, so no clue for them. Kuya gave them a second chance: they had to finish an entire bowl of gelatinous food, made from mangrove trees. They were to take turns until it was all gone, and no one was supposed to back down. Nikki went first, and although she declared it weird, she was able to take her share. Same was true for Robi, Rona and Alex. In fact, Alex even got more than his share. Mikan was surprised that he was the only one who complained about the food, especially when he threw it up after eating their cookies. Rona teased him, saying that he ought to do it for Beauty (Mikan’s admitted crush). A few moments later, all were back and eating the food.
